A taster of Charlotte’s signature Strong Motion programme, focussing on the principle of building strength and mobility for movement in our daily lives as well as for dance. Developed from Charlotte’s fitness and movement training coupled with 13 years of belly dance study, the classes feature a long strength and conditioning sequence alongside in-depth discussion on how these exercises are essential for the health of our bodies, particularly if we have desk jobs or drive a lot. We will then move on to dance technique, going back to basics whilst diving deep into the anatomy and execution of the movements to elevate our quality of movement and find fluidity and precision. A core element of the programme is developing a regular movement practice and we will also discuss tips and tricks to fit a practice around your busy life and maintain it long term.
